Hey y'all,
My name is Max and I'm a current Master's in Advertising student at the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from UT Austin undergrad in Spring of 2020 with a major in Advertising and minor in Business and Arts Management.
Since my parents put me in piano lessons at six years old, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in live entertainment... I just didn't know how. After some incredible opportunities growing up, I developed a strong passion for advertising, marketing and promotion (music, sports, movie theaters, broadway, etc.).

What I'm doing now...
Complementing my major, I am a part of two highly selective tracks including Texas Creative (a fast paced portfolio program that mimics agency life by working with multiple clients to develops 360–degree campaigns across multiple mediums: print, digital, experiential) and Texas Immersive (a program that mimics life of an experiential designer, focusing on research, design and development of immersive experiences through emerging technology). Additionally, I am an Original Content Writer for the Texas Advertising & Public Relations Publication and a Teaching Assistant for multiple Sports Advertising Classes. I'm also a 5–year Longhorn Singer.
Outside of School, I'm a Part–Owner and the Account and Client Relations Manager for Buzznog, a music tech–experiential marketing company. I also work with Look Cinemas and Studio Movie Grill as their Advertising Consultant. Additionally, I work with Shalom Austin as their Music/Director and Song Leader.
Background
I spent my 4–years as an undergraduate longhorn building my skillset. I was a part of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, serving as the Chapter Recruitment Captain, holding a position on the national board of trustees.
I concluded my time as the University of Texas 2019 Interfraternity President. During my IFC presidency (24 fraternities), I established new initiatives:
-
Crafting the inaugural university-wide presidents academy
-
Completely revamping Texas IFC's Roundup (a 12,000 student festival)
-
Creating the first annual official university-wide IFC recruitment event
-
Raising $120,000+ for local Austin charities
While at UT, I received several notable awards including: ZBT's The Phill Goodman Award for Outstanding Campus Leadership, The National Interfraternity Conference Undergraduate Award of Distinction, and The University of Texas Hyperion Award.

I was the Vice President of My Senior Advertising Capstone Class, in which we mimiked agency life, dividing into agencies and building a 360–degree marketing plan for H–E–B (Large grocery store chain based in San Antonio, Texas). I was also a tenor, musician and dancer for Longhorn Singers, the Official Show Choir of the University of Texas.
I worked for C3–Presents, the Austin based subsidiary of Live Nation, in multiple departments and locations. May–August 2019, I worked for their management division (C3 Management) in Los Angeles, while attending the University of Texas at Los Angeles Entertainment and Media Studies Program (UTLA). August–December 2019, I worked in the marketing department and was the Team Lead/Executive Producer for the Fall 2019 Intern Show: "Amf It Up!". January–May 2020, I worked in C3's production department, originally working on the NFL Draft, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza before quickly pivoting into Covid–19 response mode.
Lastly, I worked (still do) for Shalom Austin (Austin Jewish Community Center) as their Music Director/Song Leader.
